By accessing or using The Shidduch Exchange ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
The Shidduch Exchange is an escrow-based platform that enables Jewish families to set aside reserved funds for their children's potential shidduch (marriage match), and for shadchanim (matchmakers) to facilitate matches and receive compensation from those funds upon a successful engagement.
All funds deposited on the Platform are held in escrow and are not transferred to shadchanim until an engagement is confirmed and processed by Platform administrators. Funds may be refunded subject to the Platform's refund policy, which includes a 90-day holding period from the date of refund request.
The Platform charges a 10% fee on all disbursements to shadchanim. Credit card payments incur an additional 3% surcharge to cover processing costs. Promo code discounts reduce the refundable amount proportionally.
Users are responsible for:
Shadchanim must complete identity verification to access certain features. The Platform's rank system (NEW, SILVER, GOLD, DIAMOND, PLATINUM) is based on confirmed paid shidduchim in rolling 12-month periods. Higher ranks provide access to additional visibility features.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from use of the Platform, including but not limited to lost funds, failed matches, or system downtime.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
